Poems on Gandhi

A picture of Truth and nobility you are.
A name elevated, near and far.
All your life you gave and cared
A life you easily won and dared!
Your life so precious to us it was,
Only a bullet, it took to pass.
A jewel in an ocean so gracious.
Was his tread on this land so cautions.
Bapuji you was to one and all,
Selflessly you left us at mother's call.
A sadness in our heart so deep,
A saint who brought sunshine to the poor and weak.
